Wedding invitations??

Where do you recommend getting affordable wedding invitations? Do you go somewhere local (around Cincinnati) or to a national website?

I did my wedding invitations on weddingpaperdivas.com . I thought it was pretty affordable for what was needed. Hope that helps.

I paid a little more for invites via Magnet Street Weddings, and budgeted/saved in other areas. Invite's were one thing I really just wanted someone else to handle and have all ready for me to go. Magnet Street is AWESOME and they have great options-- check them out!

I was told via a coworker that Land of Oz in Cheviot was the cheapest she could find in the city. She loved her invitations! They seem a little shady when you go to the shop but they just order them and they are shipped from the company to your house.

I had an etsy seller make mine and then printed them myself on paper I bought in bulk on a website... I absolutely LOVE the way they turned out!

I used magnet street wedding.com for myinvitations too.  The program they have on their website is awesome, it lets you totally make them unique by picking the fonts colors yourself etc.. I shopped around a few places in cinci area and actually saved money using magnet street.

I ordered a bunch of catalogs like Rexcraft, American Wedding, Jean M, Dawn, etc., and ended up going with Ann's Bridal Bargains.  I also checked out Land of Oz, but the same invitations I bought from Ann's were more expensive there.

also, don't forget to check craft stores for the DIY invites that you run through the printer. I got mine at Michaels, 120 for about 80 bucks. Look for the sales or use store coupons. Luckily the invites I foulnd went perfectly with our color scheme, and invites were something I didn't want to drop A LOT of money on since unfortunately most will end up getting tossed out anyway after the wedding.

also, tasha's rec on vistaprint,  is an affordable site. I have never looked at the invites, but we made a few other things through the site that were extrememly affordable. We made return address labels, and water bottle covers that turned out great!

Thanks for all the suggestions!! I ended up going with a local graphic designer who was incredibly affordable and willing to work within our budget. Here is her website:

    I highly recommend her!!
