Should we bring it?

So, Marc and I are Catholic and getting married in a Catholic Church.  Our priest called Marc today (it's easier for him to get calls during work), and set up a meeting for us Wednesday night after mass.  Marc asks him if we should bring anything, and he says Saranac beer.  This is coming from the same priest who told me I still had time to find someone taller to marry.  Marc didn't know whether he was serious or not.  I said, let's bring it.  What do you think?

    I just didn't know if it was inappropriate.  I mean priests can drink beer...

    Haha I would! Maybe play it off like you didnt think he was serious but "Hey you asked so I brought!" Ya know? Just make it funny. Bring a 6-pk, if he doesnt want it, you bought some good beer!

    Josh and I drank with our minister (just 1 or 2) everytime we met. It relaxed everyone a little

    You're on my facebook right? The one pic of me in front of a counter with a TON of "bottles" was taken IN a rectory!!  That's all I have to say!  With that said...bring the beer :)

    EDIT:  The album is called "Summer '09...to be continued"  in case you don't feel like looking through all of them just to see what I mean...lol

    Definitely bring the beer!!!  When Kev and I met with our priest to discuss the wedding, he took us to Empire Brewing Co.  They can drink (and most do).... and it's hilarious!!!  We also ran into him at Italian Fest w/ a glass of wine in one hand and a canoli in the other.  Totally normal guy!!!

    Wow! Now I'm kind of jealous that ours wants to meet us at Denny's!! I'd feel much more comfortable kicking back a few adult beverages with her!
