Want to help me spend $50?

My step-grandpa is here visiting this week and gave me $50 that he tried to mail to me for my birthday but somehow he didn't have our newest address. I was shocked - they got married in 2001, so it's not like i grew up with him as my grandpa and my grandma passed a year ago so I never expected anything. Since it was so unexpected, and incredibly sweet, and I think he may have done it not only to honor my grandma but also to help ease my pain of having lost her, I want to use it for something special. I have no idea what that might be though. thoughts?

If you want to use the money to honor your grandmother, why not get a charm for a necklace or bracelet or something that would remind you of her so you can wear it? I of course don't know her, but if it were me and my grandma- Maybe I would go and buy some yarn and crochet a blanket for my home (since its something I distinctly remember my grandma teaching me). My suggestion is something for YOU in memory of Her
