My dress is champagne with mocha trim. We are doing chocolate brown tux with ivory shirts. Groom is wearing champagne vest/tie and a creamy rose boutenniere. Ringbearer is wearing dusty rose vest/bow tie with a pink rose boutenniere, and fathers are wearing dusty rose vest/ties with pink rose boutennieres. Flower girl will wear a pink dress. No other wedding party.

I think I prefer black, but this site shows some great brown tuxes. There are no rules! Do what you love

I also think tuxes should be black.

White jackets if you are in the tropics.

Brown tuxes remind me of my parents wedding pictures when they got married in the mid 70's.

I feel that tuxes should be black.

Suits are always a nice option (especially if you aren't having a super formal wedding) and those can look nice in a tan or grey color as well as navy or black.

Just something to think about....I had a friend whose wedding colors were pink and brown and she had all the boys in brown tuxes and it looked bad. Even in the pictures afterwards, the brown seemed to wash everyone out, even those who weren't pale to begin with. If you're stuck on brown have you thought of maybe a lighter color, like taupe or khaki? They make tons of options now in those colors. If you're set on it though, go for it, its your wedding after all
