Brooch bouquets

I saw another thread about flowers and bouquets so I wanted to post this question to the masses. Is anyone having a brooch bouquet? I've been debating this and was wondering about prices for DIY.

If you are doing it; are you doing it yourself? If so, where did you find all the brooches? Where they expensive?
Did you hire someone to do it? Where they any more affordable then doing real flowers?

Would love to hear what all you ladies are doing

I am not doing them, however, I have seen a whole lot on Etsy. You may want to check them out to see their prices, you may be able to get one at a great price. If nothing else, as more inspiration. Good luck.

I have been looking into it, lots of great ones on Etsy. One girl is local to Columbus too.

This might be a 'duh' suggestion, but I made something similar to this and I looked on ebay for jewelry lots for crafts -- a lot of people will sell a huge bag of jewelry that has some pieces missing, or earrings with no matches - and you can get a LOT of stuff to use for around $50-75.

Sorry I won't be much help, but definitely post this on the DIY board! I've definitely seen a few threads about this over there :)

I decided that I didn't have the right coordinating skills to put together the right brooches and such, nor did I have the patience and creativity to make one myself.  I'm going through an etsy seller and paying way too much but the bouquet ended up being that thing I HAD TO HAVE!!!  For some its the dress, others its the venue...yeah mine was the bouquet.  The upside is I'll get to have it for always =)

Here were the top three etsy sellers that made it terribly difficult to choose from, as they're all amazing!

You ladies are wonderful! Thank you for being so helpful.

I'm in love with these bouquets and want them so badly but I don't know that it is something I can really splurge on.
