Good morning!

Today is my first day back at work. It was really hard to get out of bed this morning. I feel like I got a decent amount of wedding things done with my time off. Yesterday I spent the day picking songs for the ceremony and the reception (entrance, cake cutting, last dance...).  I also got purchases supplies for my friend to make the bridesmaids jewelry and other odds and ends.

Did everyone have a good New Years? Anyone still on break or vacation?

ETA - Oh yeah I also pretty much got all the registry stuff done. Making decisions is hard! The whole process took longer than I expected.

    Afternoon!

    I'm still on break until next monday and then school starts again.  I spent New Years with my grandparents and Skyped with DH.  It was great even if DH and I were apart for this one celebration (we have many many more to come).

    I wish I had more time on break.  I've been watching HGTV (we dont have cable back home) and I have seriously gone into a DIY mood to work on our house.

    Hey guys! FI and I got a call from my mom at around 4am asking us to go to my sister's and stay there with my 2 year old nephew because my sister was going into labor! We were so excited and didn't get a lot of sleep but my niece was born at around 7 this morning. She is gorgeous and perfect and I love her :]

    That's so exciting aleighk1!! I keep telling FI that I wish someone we knew would have a baby! There's no way I'm ready for one of our own anytime soon, but it's fun to get to hold them and then get to give them back to their parents!

    We had a really good new years...probably one of my best ever!! There was no drama and everyone had a really fun time!

    Unfortunately, I had to go back to work yesterday, but it hasn't been too bad. I keep telling FI that I'm going to start going to bed at 9:30 because I get so tired!
