Recently we were in Bend and went to The Wine Shop and Tasting Room downtown. It was awesome! You could purchase red, white, sparkling, sake (by the glass or the bottle), or coffee, as well as cheese platters and other apps to go with thebeverage. It had a fantastic coffee shop type feel, but with wine instead. Now we're looking for someplace in Portland that is like that - you know, you can go hang out and chat for a couple of hours over a couple of drinks, maybe a cheese platter, possibly purchase a bottle to take home, or not...any recs? The thing we really loved about this place is that it wasn't super crowded and it was very coffee shop feeling. I can't emphasize that enough (obviously, since I've already stated it once!).
