My venue was the Scottish Rite -- it was a good experience overall. Things went seamlessly day of and the food was fabulous. I was slightly annoyed that they switched the vegetarian option on us from what it was supposed to be. Other than that, everything was good. I have lots of pics in my married bio.

cant even begin to say how thankful I am for the staff at DiSalvo's. From the very beginning, they were AMAZING! I didn't have to worry about one thing, not the food, not the service, linens or decor. Everything was taken care of! Marisa, Vince and their staff deserve all of the credit in the world for how beautiful and flawless the wedding reception was from start to finish. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change one thing because it was PERFECT.  I have been looking at pictures from the wedding that people have posted online, and I can't begin to tell you how many we have of the food, cake, linens and decor- everyone was as amazed with it as much as we were. We couldnt have asked for a better reception!

I'm getting married at the Holiday Inn in October.  So far, they've been accomodating and wonderful.  We tasted and chose our food and it was great!  Also, their prices are pretty amazing.

Went to a wedding at the scottish rite recently...not impressed!
basement room for reception was dated and the ceiling was awful! Felt like an old cafeteria!
Food was nothing to rave about...in fact it was cold and served a full hour after most tables got their food!
I liked the staircase and marquee...that was it!

Something that has to be addressed here is the difference between The Acacia Club and The Scottish Rite.
I was in a wedding at the Acacia club (that is where we are having our reception) and I absolutely LOVE it!
It has a beautiful marble staircase, but it definitely vintage looking.
I don't know if I could call it dated.
The Scottish Rite is where Williamsport High School has our prom.
It's not as nice at all.
You have to figure out which venue you like the best because they are completely different.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
