in July 2012 Weddings
just got the final invoice...after paying and paying and paying, we still owed $10,000....I am sick to my stomach, especially because I was assuming it was around 6000...TAXES and SERVICES Charges, everywhere...:(  I am so depressed.

    BTW!  You're vendor should have been much more transparent!  Check your contract and your prev payments and make sure the final invoice is correct.

    It's too late to drop stuff.  Well, she did accidentally charge me for 7 extra people.  It brought it down to $9112...ugh, that was just horrible.  The initial viewing made me sick!

    That is a huge gap. Definitely retread your contract and redo the math. Maybe they missed a couple payments you made.

    They didnt, I just didnt realize how much I was going to be TAXED...since its a hotel they killed it on taxes, plus the ceremony room was $500.

    Yea the taxes and service fees for my venue are gross! It comes to about 29% for taxes and service fees on top of their extremely inflated per person dinner and alcohol costs.

    I'm sorry hun! I am sick of all these last minute things to buy and the never ending money I am throwing into this wedding. I am so looking forward to not spending my paychecks before they are even received. 1more weekend!!!! No more weekends for you! You are at the end!

    Ugh...it better be damn amazing.
