without boring you all with a long sob story, i'm looking for a gift ideas or something nice to do for someone who is very ill and in the hospital and will soon be moved to hospice. this person is in florida and i am in iowa so it will have to be shipped.

    there really isn't anyone to call that i haven't already spoke with and i pretty much am immediate family. she only has a few "good hours" a day, so i think it more needs to be something to keep her comfortable like mentioned blanket or slippers, or something for her to look at and enjoy like flowers or something, but not nessicarly something to occupy her time.
