Preserving the bouquet

Any thoughts on how one could preserve your bouquet after the wedding.  I know it will lose it's day of glory, but has anyone tried freeze drying their bouquet or some other method of preservation?

Re: Preserving the bouquet

  • I'm having a hard time finding a local vendor who can do this.  I'd rather not have to ship mine out to be preserved but looks like I may have to...there were so many things to do before the wedding that I just didn't think of this in advance so now I'm scrambling the week after.   I was told by my florist, The Plant Gallery, that Beth's Flowers did it, but I called Beth's and they said no, they did not do it, and they didn't know anyone.  I've tried calling a few other florists and they all said they didn't know of anyone.  I'm Googling but only finding non-working numbers.    So I'd appreciate if anyone knows of a local place either before I go to the trouble of shipping my flowers out!  My wedding was a week ago and we had to rush off on our honeymoon so I couldn't get to anyone the day after like I'd wanted so I need an answer asap!  I'm also about to start checking in Baton Rouge because I'd drive a bit before I shipped.
