Tlaquepaque, Sedona

We're really wanting to get married at Tlaquepaque in Sedona, as it's where he proposed. To me they seem unaccommodating. I would love some advice!

    I LOVE Tlaquepaque!! My FI proposed in Sedona as well. I think we're going to make some sort of annual trip to Sedona since it was such a magical weekend, but we're getting married here in the city. Anyhow, I love that place and it's absolutely beautiful! If they're being unaccommodating, perhaps you can get married at one of the resorts up there? We stayed at L'auberge, which was absolutely beautiful! I looked up prices for a wedding and it was rather expensive, but so stunning! If you choose to do a wedding elsewhere in Sedona, you could maybe have your rehearsal dinner at T or a day after brunch at the little cafe. Just a thought.. :)

    Honestly, a Sedona wedding will be so beautiful, rather you're able to work it out with T'laquepaque or not. Good luck!! :)

    I booked the chapel and the banquet room at Tlaquepaque for our reception. So far, I haven't had any issues. They have been very accommodating, actually. I originally booked the venue for February 2011. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to postpone our wedding. When I called last October, they kindly moved our date back a year to February 2012 with no problem. I wasn't charged an additional fee and they sent me an updated contract. When I signed the original contract, they even included the bridal suite free of charge. Sometimes they do take a while to return calls, but overall I've been really happy. What issues are you having?

    You know I actually had some problems with them as well. It was mostly in terms of response time. We ended up choosing Amara Resort and Spa after looking at tons of different resort in Sedona. It's a super cute idea getting married where he proposed though so if you can make that seems really nice. Good luck!

    If you do not want a lardge wedding I highly recommend the Penrose Bed and Breakfast.  My brother just got married there in May and it was amazing.  It was so nice to have the place for the whole weekend.  The views were amazing as well.  I can not say enough good things about the staff and owners.

    I just got married their in April.  I had my reception at L'Auberge.  I love the idea of getting married where he proposed... Very romantic.  You can always go back every year to Rene for dinner.  Its a wonderful resturant we love it!.  Check out my photos for all my Sedona wedding shots.  Good Luck and Congratualtions!  I am working on my Sedona Wedding Review (sorry I am slow)!
