Time to Obtain Marriage Certificate

Hello,

Does anyone know how long it would take to issue the marraige certificate after the ceremony? I am under time constraint as I need that before the religious ceremony.

    We got our marriage certificate in Mechanicville, NY and literally had the license on the Tuesday after our wedding, it really depends on how quickly it is sent to where you obtained it.

    Thanks! I think if you perform the wedding in the court, they give it to you right away. Is that your understanding as well?

    We got married in Colonie and had the marriage certificate back from Clifton Park 2-3 mailing days after.
