    I need to get my butt in gear and get all my thank you notes written out from my shower last weekend.  The goal is to have them all completed by Sunday night so I can mail them on Monday.

    Saturday we are taking FI's parents out to dinner for their 35th wedding anniversary.  We also need to work on songs for the reception and the wedding video.  I need to start working on my timeline too.

    Sunday we are meeting with the music minister at the church to choose ceremony music.

    Do you have any songs picked out yet for your video/ceremony/reception?

    Good luck with the TY notes!  Ugh I hated writing them but I forced myself to do it right away.

    We have some songs picked out, but we need to start finalizing everything.  I have an idea of the songs I want played at the ceremony but I'm not sure the Catholic Church will do it.  Hopefully they will!

    Yay! TGIF!

    NWR: Haunted Hayride/House tonight with FI's work friends. Disc golf tomorrow, Game night tomorrow with our Bestman/Bridesmaid (married). LAZY day on Sunday- it has become my new "ritual". Coffee, pj's, a book...and football.

    WR: Finalizing hotel block for guests, looking at bakeries for cake pricing.

    Tonight: Not a darn thing as I'm still trying to recover from bronchitis/pneumonia

    Saturday: Soccer game for my son and dropping my kids off at my moms. Shes watching them for the night so my FI and I can go out for the night. We're meeting friends at Hockey Town Cafe to watch the Wings play.

    Sunday: Soccer game again and going to the Troy Firefighters open house so my son (who is obsessed with firemen) can have a good time.

    Happy Friday!!! This is my first weekend off since February!! I'm very excited, busy, but excited!

    Today: Work until 5, then heading home and packing up the car.  FI and I are taking off for Grand Haven this weekend.  We may meet up with some people when we get to town, but not sure yet.

    Tomorrow: Waking up bright and early to go to FI's neices soccer game.  Then we are making a quick trip to the mall cuz I'm not in love with my b-party dress.  After that he is heading to the gun range, and I am meeting up with the girls at a hotel for spa day and cocktails.  In the evening all of us will get together for dinner and bar hopping (our version of b-parties).  So excited, our friends have gone way above and beyond for this weekend.

    Sunday: Nursing my hangover, and eventually heading back out here.

    Nothing planned yet for tonight - depends out what is happening with Dan when he gets off work.

    Saturday:  I need to get to Hallmark for the ornament debut weekend.  I want to get the Gnomeo and Juliette ornament for Dan's tree this year.  Granted not our first Christmas as a married couple but still our first.

    I need to also get to the Dollar Store and get some Sweetest Day Cards.  Yeah, more than one.  Less than two weeks ago he sent me NINE (yes 9) cards in the mail.  Parents think he's got it real bad and mom has said that we better hurry up and get married!

    Dan will probably want to get under the trailer and do some more insulation before it gets any colder.  He was going to do it a few weeks ago but it was still wet.  He also wants to paint the kitchen and bathroom cabinets.  We were able to find new handles - 30 of them for $24. 

    Sunday:  I hope that we can go to the movies after church.

    Today: Work and the a sams club trip. Then date night with FI. Movie and dinner, I think.

    Saturday: Going out witha  few bridesmaids to look at some dresses. Plus I want to go to that lace store in Troy that is all wedding stuff and supposed to be very cool.

    Sunday: My nieces first birthday party.

    Big WR weekend for me...finally back up in MI for a weekend and need to get stuff done!

    Today--getting my nails done with my Mom and sisters (never done this before..this is a big deal for me), checking out centerpiece ideas or going with my Momma to look at dresses for her, then going bridesmaid dress shopping with 4 out of my 5 girls.  I vegatable peeled a big hunk off one of my nails (of course on my left hand) so we're gonna see if they can work any magic.

    Tomorrow--actually going to my cousins wedding. Reception is at Park Royal hotel...gotta steal ideas haha

    Sunday--E-Pics finally!!! Unfortunately it's early...9 am and we have the wedding the night before....let's hope FI and I can lay off the open bar a bit otherwise we are gonna have some uggggly pictures

    Go TIgs! Great game last night. Super pumped!

    Tonight -- date night. Dinner and maybe a movie, though likely I'll be too tired from dinner to go to a late movie!

    Tomorrow -- Looking at another apartment and then relaxing for the day. FI will probably work and then we'll watch the Tigers game somewhere.

    Sunday -- softball.

    I have Monday off for Columbus Day and I'm hoping to just kind of rest up this weekend. We have tickets to the Tigers games next week and between that and Monday Night Football in the D, it's going to be crazy in my 'hood.

    Today: working and then possibly going to a bonfire at my friend's house.

    Saturday: Driving to basically Toledo to meet with my undergrad advisor.  Her and I need to catch up and talk about a few things I'm debating on.  Also her daughter, my FG, has something to show me.

    Sunday: Possibly working or going out to Davison to "kidnap" one of my friends for the day.  Her grandma died last week and she's going through a rough time between it, applying to law schools, and working so I want to surprise her.

    Work all day, going to visit my friends mom in the hospital, then going to a costume party tonight

    Tomorrow go to a winery, visit my grandma, work on WP gifts, then go to my cousins b-party

    Sunday go to church, go ice skating with an old friend, and then possibly a birthday party... 

    woo! I'm looking forward to great weather

    15 days to go!!! 

    I am going to get my hair cut and colored today and then meet a friend for lunch and some shopping.

    Tomorrow I have to finish my programs, menus, and tags for my OOT bags and then have a going away party for one of the PA's I work with.
    Sunday I start my last streak of night shifts before the wedding!! 3 more to go!!


    ETA:  Edited to say that I have been to that bridal place in Troy.  Its a little pricey.  They do have a TON of jewelry.

    Tonight I am hoping to get a run in, and then just relax.

    Tomorrow I am going to my cousins 3rd birthday party, and then a friends going away party.

    Sunday I am hoping to relax but I will probably end up cleaning or something. FI is gone all weekend hunting :(

    Tonight: Cleaning the apartment, errands, and then FI's brother comes into town for the weekend (around 10pm)

    Saturday:  Going shopping with my sister to pick out a cute fall coat for my engagement photos (next weekend, so excited).  Then watching the Tigers game at some point.

    Sunday: Football.  LOL!  FI and his brother want to watch foot at Buffelo Wild Wings, so I will head out with them to hang out.  And see if my fantasy team does well.  :)

    Woo Hoo!! Just got a call that my dress is in!!!SO, tomorrow I will go take a look at the dress and see how my jewelry looks with it and probably go shoe shopping. Oh, I'll probably watch the game too :)Sunday is up in the air. Might just be lazy. 
    **Also, my first attempt at this post ended up on the Friday thread for Las Vegas brides. I think TK must be ready for the weekend too!
