Oh. my. gosh.

I went to pick up JP's wedding band and guess what. The f*cking engraving was STILL on it. Yes, still there. Awesome. I raged, literally, I lost all sense of self control and I'm sure I scared at least one person out of the store. I was ready to tell every other customer to leave and not spend their money at Kay's (ughh, what was I thinking going there??!?). Anyway, the district manager just happened to be in. He tried to be nice and accommodating, all the while I was a complete lunatic. Apparently since it's such a hard metal, the engraving wasn't actually in the metal and actually sits on top. It's some sort of acid engraving, I don't really know. Anyhow, he was able to get it off. I asked why this wasn't done the first time they made a mistake. He said the employees didn't know that it could be done. Ummmmmm well, then maybe you should either A) higher more qualified associates or B) f*cking train your incompetent employees you moron. I did say that (minus the swear words). Anyhow, he did end up giving me 10% off the ring as well. I'm pretty sure he's going home today with only one ball left.

Then, I go to pick up my invites. Everything looks great, only the envelopes are white. Both the inner and outer are supposed to be black. It sounds weird, I know, but they're super nice and elegant. Anyway, she's having them shipped to me by Tuesday. Annoying. I didn't plan on stuffing and adding stamps today or anything, but I just want something to go right, just once. Is that too much to ask?!

Seriously, when can I get a freaking break girls, WHEN?!

    LOL! Well good for you for ripping that guys balls in half! I would've done the same. I can't believe how often people just completely SUCK at their jobs! It's unbelievable. I'm becoming that old woman that like, writes to the company or complains to the management...but I swear, it's not right!

    I totally hear ya. It's like no one can do their job properly anymore.

    Omg I would've lost it at Kay's too, especially since you were extremely clear the SECOND time you told them no engraving. Lol BUT 10% off is an added bonus. That's super annoying but fortunately everything is fixable. :/

    lol britt!!!! I know how you feel. Bridezilla had to come out huh. Jk.  Im sorry this had to happen though.!  Glad they could get it fixed..  I cant believe they did it twice to you!

    You have to take pics of the invitations! Im curious to see. What are your colors?

    Aww I'm so sorry to hear about the rough day :-\.... the good news is that you're not having these major issues within a month of the wedding.. I think THAT'S when I would be really freaking out about anything not going right!!

    Thanks girls! Yes, I'll definitely post pics of the invitations later this week, but I want to wait until I have the black envelopes. I looove them! They're lucky that I'll be busy within the next few days anyway. I planned on prepping all of them towards the end of this week and sending them out on the 26th. Wow, that's so soon! Less than 11 weeks until my wedding. o. m. g.

    Wow!! That is so close! This is becoming more and more real! 11 weeks seems like no time!

    As for the other situation-- That is super frustrating!! That poor regional guy probably went home to his wife and was like you'll never believe the a** chewing I got today from some woman who had an engraving on her ring that she didn't want and I had nothing to do with...I need a drink!! :P haha I would have done the same thing! Hopefully your luck turns around!
