St. Mark's Chapel/Tucker House/Borden Building

Anybody ever been to a wedding or reception at any of these locations? I'm definitely going to call the City of Raleigh for more info about having my wedding and/or reception at one of these places but I wanted to see if anybody had any input or feedback from personal experience!

    The lady that is charge is super nice but it seems she owns the house and does weddings in her spare time. I don't remember her name or number. The biggest problem is you can't have alcohol there and the house don't fit many people (maybe 80?)

    I considered having my ceremony at the Tucker House because I was looking at the Burning Coal Theater which is just steps away but Person street is very busy at times and I didn't want that to be the back drop of my wedding since we have too many people to do it inside.

    I love the Mordecai property and wish we could fit all of our guest into St. Marks. We would love to take pictures there the morning of our wedding. It's very pretty and you can tent the back lawn, I think it would be a wonderful venue.

    Our December wedding is at the Tucker House and we are very excited. Jackie the keeper, is very nice and easy to contact. She is willing to allow you to come in and visit as many times as needed. It's a great space and a wonderful value!
