Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted many times, but have definitely used recommendations on this board in choosing vendors and I'm so glad I did, because they were all great! So here we go...
Dress - D'Anellie Bridal: B
I really loved my dress but felt the gal put some pressure on me and wasn't as accomodating of my family as some of the other places. That being said they have a great selection and helpful staff
Flowers - Hillside Flowers by Dawn: A+
Dawn was great. The flowers were gorgeous and she really worked with my budget. She did a beautiful job.
Tuxes - Al's Formal Wear: B
Everything went well, but I was told by a number of people that we paid too much. They did a great job, but you might want to shop around if you're price sensitive
Cake - Das Meyer: A
The cake looked just how I wanted it, really tasty and everything was delivered on time.
Venue - Crystal Rose, Robin's Nest: B+
They did a really great job. My coordinator Bob Byerlz was wonderful, he really made sure everything flowed and knows weddings like the back of his hand. He listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly what we were looking for. I gave them an B+ because I didn't feel like the food was anything special and Bob was difficult to get ahold of sometimes. I had to call 3 times to schedule my final appointment with him.
Hair and Makeup - Heather Joyce: A
Heather was great. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. She did air brush for my makeup, which turned out beautiful. I didn't give her an A+ only because we ran 30 minutes behind schedule.
Officiant - Judge Brian Boatright: A+
Brian was awesome! He allowed us to customize the ceremony to the way we wanted it, ran through everything with us to make sure we were comfortable and had a great presentation. He was on time and ran us through a few points before the wedding. I'd definitely recommend him.
Photography - Yellow Paddle Photography
I'm not going to give them a grade yet, because we haven't received our pictures yet. They did a great job on our engagement photos though and they were fun to work with.
Hope this helps! Good luck ladies!
