Our theme is vintage. Which centerpiece do you think will go best? We are doing half high centerpieces like below in my signature and half with the bridesmaid bouquets. I can't decide between using a vintage tin can like below or a pitcher. The bridesmaid bouquets will be pink. What do you think?
WOW, they're all gorgeous. I love the colors. Although I like the first tin best, I think the pitcher would look better with the tall glass vases. Just my opinion.
I also like the tin. I love the way the blue tin in the inspiration pic looks with the flowers. If you are going for a more shabby chic look, I definitely pic the tin. If you want more of an elegant look though, then I'd do the pitcher/vase look.
I like them both. They both "say" what you want to say about vintage. I guess it comes down to how easy it will be to find what you want........did you want different types of tins or the same? I think the pitchers would be much easier to find in second hand stores.
Both are lovely and I don't think you can go wrong with either.
Thanks! I actually know where to find the tins. They are 8 bucks at Harney and Sons website. A great deal! I plan on using one pitcher for my bouquets and then the tins for the bridesmaid bouquets. We'll see how it works when I do a trial run!
I say do a mixture of the tins and the pitchers. Since you are going "vintage" they don't need to match. Do a variety in various colors that fir into your color scheme. : )
Just an update on those centerpieces. I actually had a feeling this would happen... (
I purchased one of the tea tins and it is WAY too small to use for bridal bouquets. We are actually considering using them as table gifts instead. They are adorable and the tea is delicious. Back to the drawing board!
