Maggie Sottero - Victoriana - with gloves?

Hi everyone!
I was wondering what you thought about wearing a Maggie Sottero Victoriana in Ivory with elbow length gloves. We are doing a vintage high end cocktail party reception and I was wondering whether or not gloves would look ok with this dress. What do you think? have you seen someone with this dress and gloves? I really do not love the advertisement photos for this dress as they dont show how gorgeous this dress really is (so please dont judge this dress by the Maggie website picture!)

    I almost bought that dress!! I say GO FOR IT!! I think it would look great, but pp are right, don't go overboard with the rest of the accessories!! ENJOY!!!

    I ended up with Gracie by Sottero & Midgley - Victoriana was my 2nd choice :-)
