  Try Buffet! Instead of sit down dinner... try to do it in Queens .. or the outer boroughs.. it works out cheaper.....  Im sure you can have your dream day ...

  My friend just had her rehearsal dinner at the Smith and it was a blast! The food is excellent and the private room can accommodate 100 standing or 72 seated as low as $35 per person- woot! Manhattan miracle! http://www.ctrnyc.com/CTR/ctr_html/ctr_privateparties.html

  I did mine for $54 a person for 5 hour open bar and drinks, aps, dessert. You may be able to talk them down if you do a smaller open bar or bring your own dessert. I had mine at 107 West and got the whole place on a Sat. night.
