My fiance and I have decided to elope in 2 weeks. We just booked our hotel (Viceroy) and are planning on a 10 minute ceremony at South Pointe Park on the beach, just the two of us and our officiant and photographer.
Three questions:
1. In the event of rain (which I hear may be an issue since May/June is the rainy season), can anyone recommend an indoor location that we wouldn't have to rent out?
2. Do we need a permit to get married on the beach if it is just the two of us, an officiant, and photographer? (No arches, seats, etc.)
3. I've been told that it rarely rains all day long, even when the forecast calls for rain; is this true? Is it usually just a 2 hour storm in the afternoon and clear most of the time?
