so my mother in law to be is pushing to have somebody sing at my wedding neither me nor my fiance want anybody to sing we have a dj that will be playing music at the right tiimes, so my question is how do i go about saying no with out bringing out the mother in lawzilla?

    Who is paying for the wedding? If she is paying, than she gets to have a say in the ceremony, and if she wants to pay for someone to sing at your wedding, whats the harm in that? She surely won't pick someone horrible. I would just try to compromise with your FMIL. You should pick your battles, and this is something that is worth fighting over. However, if they are not paying for it, thank them for the suggestion and tel them that you'll think about it, and then don't talk about wedding related stuff with her.
