Wedding Dresses

Does anyone know of some good, but somewhat cheap, dress shops? I do NOT  want to go to David's Bridal. I went there once already and now they won't stop calling me. Its really annoying and sort of just turned me off to them completely.

My maximum budget is $1000 but in all honesty, I'd like to keep it around $500.

Let me know! I'm starting to look at dresses this summer Smile

    Not sure where you are located but I went to http://www.alessandrabridal.com/ and http://www.nicolemichaelsbridal.com/

    Both places had dresses under $1000 (that was my budget as well) and were very helpful and took good care of me.

    in port huron there is a shop called Georgio's and there are small boutiques all over. check those ones out :) they may have something unique for you!! good luck!

    I got my dress from Group USA in Great Lakes Crossing.  It was $400 + tax on sale, originally $600.  I think that most of their dresses fall within that price range, and I don't think there were any at all over $1,000.

    I went to Moni's Bridal in Farmington and tried on dresses ranging from $500-$1000+. I order my dress from there and all of my bridesmaid dresses and got an additional 10% off. However, I would not buy my veil there, they start at $200.

    You should check out some of the designers websites - some of the local bridal shops doing trunk shows offer additional discounts on those designers during the shows. I went to Dior Bridal Salon during a Maggie Sottero trunk show and they were offering an additional % off all Maggie Sottero gowns. Diors discount wasn't that great but a $800 dress I liked dropped to $695 after the discount.....

    My budget was the same as yours. We went to Bella Bridal Gallery. We told them my budget and style and she helped pick out all the dresses I would like and afford!

    I loved Alessandras!! My budget was $1800 and I tried on tons of dresses, not one was over $1200. The dress I bought was $850 including some stuff I added to it (belt and heavy alterations).

    I went to alessandra's too. My dress was $930ish and my max budget was $1,000.  They had plenty to choose from.

    Try Victoria's Bridal in Dearborn. My dress was $800 and I know they have dresses for less than that plus alterations are included in the sale price.
