Adding a corset

I really like the way corset backs look on wedding dresses, but of course the one I fell in love with has a zip-up back. I got it off the "last-year's model" rack so it is about two sizes too big. I am wondering if, after it is take in, if it is possible to add a corset to the back of a zip-up wedding dress?

Pleas help!

Talk with your seamstress before alterations are made. It might be easier for them to take your measurements and add the corset before they take it in. It can deffinatly be done.

It's doable. Many seamstresses offer this. Depending on where you go, it can get pricey.

My wedding dress is also a last year's dress, 2 sizes too big, and I'm also having a corset added. My seamstress is taking it in and adding the corset at the same time.

I just had a corset added to my dress. I purchased a Laceeis Corset kit for about $30. I took it to the seamstress doing my alterations. She said it was really quick and easy using the kit.
