Showers...When to schedule??

I got an email from one of my mom's friends that is throwing me a shower and wanted to know when I wanted to schedule it. When is it too early to have a shower? I know I'll have 2 others this summer with different/specific groups and would like to spread them out a bit.

    I am having 3 showers, 2 of them are already scheduled.  One is the last weekend in June and the other is the last weekend in July!

    I read somewhere recently that 2-6 months before is the "suggested" time by the Wedding gods.  But I think if you are registered and you leave yourself enough time to send thank you notes before the wedding (you don't want to have shower thank you notes outstanding going into the wedding when your list will just get longer) any time is fine.  Especially if you are juggling other showers.

    My aunt is hosting one just under 4 months out because it was the only time my little sister could make it. I would just go with what works best for you and the hosts.

    I was orginally suppose to have 3 and now have 4(long story freind whined and cried that she could not give me one by herself so I gave in to make her stop) the first is memorial day weekend in Vegas, second is last weekend in June on the Front Range, third is second weekend in July on the Front Range, and fourth is August in the city I currently live in.

    Dang.... I haven't scheduled any showers yet because I felt it was too early!! Clearly I do not know what I am doing! Hahaha! Looks like I start letting people plan the showers now. (I told them all it was too early.... oops!)

    I don't believe I am having one. I am not asking for one and my MOH is in England, and my BM's really don't have the time to plan one. Oh well.
