Accountability - Monday

Alright ladies, someone kick me in the butt. Woke up this morning at 5:30, decided I was too tired to get up and slept until 7:30 instead of going to the gym. I don't have time for that right now if I'm getting in shape for the wedding!

How is everyone else doing?

  • Love the inspiration pic!  Well, yesterday I dusted off my Jillian Michaels shred dvd and did the level 1 workout.  I'm going to try to stay on track and work through all three levels.  I woke up this morning and am sore all over!

  • Well my eating was crap this weekend, but we planned it to be that way. It was our 4 year anniversary.

    But I am down to 153.2 so I have just a few more lbs to go to reach my goal weight. I originally said 145, but that was when I had only a little muscle... so it might be closer to 150... not sure. Just taking it one day at a time. :D

  • I have officially given up on the scale because where I'm at, its not helping. I'm losing inches and keeping the weight on the scale so building muscle apparently :) I am 2 inches from my goal waist measurement though...
  • That's exciting Brit! I have to buy new pants for work, b/c all of mine are now to big. Which is a nice thing. I should try measuring though. How did you come up with goal inches?

  • I didn't really have goals at first, but then I looked at what I had lost over the first month of measuring and went somewhat from there. Also look at pants, as a lot of them can be traced to a waist size... so if you're in one size and goal is to be a size smaller, how much do you have to lose for that.
  • well, I started bootcamp again this morning. Up at 5:15am and working out next to the bay.  At least I have a good view... nothing like a little ocean breeze to wake me up !  Of course, then it started raining...   and by the time the hour was over, I was soaking wet. 

    But, I ran a mile for the first time in about 2 years.  My body is SORE already.  I can't imagine how sore I'm going to be tomorrow !
  • I hope everyone keeps going to get what they want, sounds like things are going good!  I just tried something new myself...a no carb diet/a no crap food diet.. aahhhh, def a first as I love my carbs!!  It's been three days and decided I can do this, although I might in a few weeks allow myself one carb meal a week.  My down falls will be for example this wknd at our town fair I have to have deep fried cheese curds.  Otherwise I have been keeping up at the gym or zumba.
