The Factory - Ballston Spa

We are considering The Factory in Ballston Spa for our venue. We are hopefully meeting with someone next week but I am eager to get some info sooner. Anyone out there married, getting married or thinking about getting married at The Factory?

I think the venue is so cool and its within our budget, which has not been an easy feat. Theres just one problem, my fiance is totally skeeved out by buffets and as far as I can tell online, thats all they offer. Does anyone know if they have sit down dinner options? 

I've got tons of questions. Thanks!

    I didnt get married there, but I did have my rehearsal dinner there and it was wonderful. The staff was fantastic and the place was exactly what we were looking for. The upstairs room is beautiful- would be really beautiful if the season allowed the fireplace to be going!

    I'm actually considering it! I haven't headr on pricing yet though and we have a very low budget. Our is in March so we thought the atmosphere and fireplace would go so perfectly! Let me know if you get any more info

    I got a response the other day from Chris- He seems easy to work with and really willing to work with me on MY ideas. They haven't ever had a Cocktail Reception there, but that's what I want and he has done a little research. We're really leaning toward this, but so far we're in the very early stages so I don't have much more info for you....

    It sounds like you have a pretty low budget, as do I... Can I ask what yours is and what # of guests you are looking at?

    The heat would worry me, too because my FI is most definitely an AC/Cool lover....however, we are planning a winter wedding, so it may be just what we're looking for. I won't completely scratch them off my list but I do appreciate the honest feedback... The room sounds very small, but we're planning a cocktail wedding, so we don't need AS much space as some, but I am a little concerned because I do want some breathing (and dancing!) room. Thank you thank you thank you for the info!
