FI is turning into a bridezilla

So, as we get closer to the wedding date, FI is the one going bridezilla - not I.

1) Yesterday, my hair/make-up trial was canceled for the 2nd time due to emergent reasons on the side of the artist. Fine - no big deal. He blew up - saying I need to ask for my money back, and she's unprofessional, blah blah blah. How I'm stupid for having paid her the whole amount upfront.

Woooah. Had my trial today - went fine - she's okay.

2) We have a major parking issue at our ceremony venue. Street parking ONLY with a big street fair going on that day. We can rent a parking lot with 20 spaces for 100 bucks - two blocks away. I say go for it. But I ask FI "hey, do you think we should do this?" FI is like "omgz, we should have picked a place with a parking lot, blah blah blah blah" Focus on now, what we can fix...ugggh. No point in bitchin' about what we "should have" done with 13 days away!

Groomzilla, perhaps??

HAHAHA that's hilarious! My FI is a total groomzilla!

1. We were kind of late sending RD invites so I told him just to text or e-mail his side and let them know what time and place it was at and that the invitation would be there soon. He FREAKED out saying he wanted a real invitation first and wanted them to look nice. I reminded him that two of his closest friends didn't even send out RD invites and we didn't think twice about it. He said, "no, I thought it totally showed a lack of effort on their part." What man says that?

2. Someone sent in their RSVP accepting without filling in their name so I told him we had to figure out who they were. He said, "No way, they're obviously idiots." I asked him what we would do when they showed up and we had no seats for them. Him: "Tell them they can't get in because they're idiots."

I'm loving the Groomzilla posts. Yes, my FI is in the club too.

Our reception venue lost the coordinator we started working with and a few months ago we got a new one. Communication was lost on the pick up drop off time/location for the limos and he flipped.

He kept asking me if my BMs got their dresses and accessories. I had to tell him to let me worry about my girls and you deal with your GM.

He would ask the same questions over and over even though I told him the answers. I almost got to the point to tell him to e-mail me his questions so I can e-mail back and he will have a record.

Oh wow. After watching Bridezillas all day on netflix, your FI's are hilarious. I'm so glad my FI is the one who keeps me grounded when things to go a little wrong or I'd be a bridezilla lol.

haha, yeah I deemed my FI a groomzilla w/in the first month of getting engaged. He has an opinion on EVERYTHING, even though he swears he doesn't and that he's fine to go along with whatever I think is best.

His current kick is pushing me to write a mass email to all of our guests reminding them about some of the things to know about the wedding (i.e. that they need to take the shuttles as there's no parking, etc.). I will get to it, but right now the escort cards are more important. If he wants it done sooner, he is welcome to do it himself.
