I'd like to have dancers at my wedding.  Anyone having dancers at their wedding?  If so, what kind of dancers?

Any recs for dancers that are willing to perform on a tight budget?

    My entertainment company providers dancers..... Rock with u entertainment... Not sure of the pricing for the dancers... I have my DJ and musicians thru them... Check your private message....  Kelly

    I wanted to hire samba dancers but we went way over budget and I dont dare mention it to Fi... :S

    H's cousin danced at ours, that was it.  At most Indian weddings I've been to, its usually relatives or family friends who organize the dancing.

    My DJ hires out dancers, but I'm not really sure I can recommend the company.

    I just don't think it's possible to have dancers on a tight budget, or at least not a large group.  I remember jenvaira said that she paid the U-M dance team something like $150-200 each to come dance at her wedding.  Maybe if you hire one or two dancers you can get away with less than $1000, but still most groups probably have a minimum.
