Re: QOTD 10/16
The emotionalness is here to stay I think, the dependence on the parents' advice is a work in progress..
FI doesn't eat anything.! Lol. He only eats spaghetti, lasagna, fried fish and chicken, and french fries. And the fish has to be salmon, tilapia, or whiting. We could go out to eat and he will order off the kids menu for chicken fingers. We went to Famous Daves and he ordered chicken fingers lol cause he doesn't eat BBQ. How does it look I had bbq chicken, a half rack of ribs and baked beans and he's eating chicken nuggets lol. He hates any kind of sauce. Only sauce he likes is Ragu lol marinara sauce. On our honeymoon, I am gonna make him eat some real food. I told him i don't care if you don't like it, atleast you tried it. He will look at something and he will be like 'Nope I don't eat it.' How do you know you don't like it if you never tried it.?! Lol. He loves the look of food, like I wouldn't be surprised if he was a food photographer in his past life. He's obsessed with the way a perfectly cooked medium rare steak looks, but he won't eat it. Lol.
[QUOTE]I would say to stop buying gas station food all the time. We have food in the house we've already bought, why spend more and eat fried french toast sticks at Kwik Trip? That drives me NUTS.

Ugh I will cook this huge meal and he'll go to McDonalds. Took me awhile to realize it's not my cooking, just the way he was brought up (on fast food). It sucks but he's trying to do better :/
ha yeah right! My only complaints are that I wish he'd cook once in a while and make plans ahead of time, not last minute.
FI gets crazy anxious about everything. Something as insignificant as a bill is due gets him all nervous... "its the 12th. Isn't electric usually due on the 12th? We should have gotten the bill by now. Maybe we should go online and find out."

Most of the time I calm him down, "yes, I already checked, the statement is rolling over on the 12th. It will be in the mail shortly. It okay. It will be ok." But it overwhelms him so easily in so many ways about so many things. Every single time I mention something about the wedding that is money related, his response is "maybe I should un-invite people. Maybe we should scale back on the honeymoon."
Ugh... "It will be ok!!!"
Yes, It's a work in progress
My cake is a 2-tier ivory cake with silver dotted scallops, ribbon and pearl brooch.
Oh, and he is really determined that I drop my last name entirely, versus dropping my middle name. So I'd go from...
Darcey Ann [Maiden Name]
to
Darcey Ann [His Name]
But I prefer
Darcey [Maiden Name] [His Name]

His procrastination & forgetfulness! Drives me nuts! But he is trying harder by putting things in his phone as reminders.
