30 Day Challenge Recap

OK ladies - I kind of slacked off on the 30 day challenge, so I finished it in about 40 days instead of 30.  LOL. 

But I must say that I can tell the difference since I started doing it.  FI has been very responsive to all of it, and he never realized what I was doing - he just appreciated it. 

And now that it's over I feel like I want to do it again b/c it really boosted our relationship!  I wish there was a 30 Day Challenge, Part 2!...

How did it turn out for you all?  Did you finsh?  If not, do you plan to pick it up again?  Did FI ask you "what's going on?" - LOL.  Or did he just think you got more appreciative all of a sudden?

    HA! Mine was like a 10 day challenge! But Babe knew I was up to something because that challenge was nothing like me. I might try again one day. We'll see.

    I'm glad that you followed thru and that your FI enjoyed it!

    I stopped reading around the 14th or 15th day, mainly because I just forgot!  But what I liked about it is that it gave me something to focus on everyday.  Perhaps after the wedding I'll pick it up again....

    I had a feeling you stopped b/c your daily reminders vanished!  LOL!

    It's harder when FI know something's up b/c it takes away from the positive effect when they're wondering "what's going on with you?".  :)

    That was my problem too - I would go out of town for the weekend and completely forget to look at the list!  So then I'd try smashing three days into one and that just seemed weird, so it kept extending my time doing the challenge.  Yes, try it again after the wedding - your DH will love it!!!

    It was this great Christian-based challenge that Tyboyd posted a while back.  It gave you one positive thing to say to your husband every day, for 30 days.  For example, one day it would ask you to think about how well your husband does with taking care of the kids, or handling finances, or being a strong man of God.  Then it would suggest that tell him how much you appreciate him for that trait.  It was nice b/c it's a structured way to commuicate to your husband/FI how much you appreciate him on a consistent basis.

    I stopped at like Day 15 too. I set a reminder in my phone to read the what the day said but I left the paper at home and just never got around to looking at it once I got back home. I will pick it up again I know because the time that I did do it FI really enjoyed it especially the hard days like submission lol. Congrats Ciny for your follow through!
