plus size Honeymoon shopping- HELP!??

I'm a plus size bride (about a 16/18 - apple shape) who used to be quite a bit smaller - and I'm not really how to dress this new body for the beach. Never the less, It's now time for me to start honeymoon clothes shopping. We're doing a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean (+ 1 extra day in Tampa). Except for the 1st excursion we'll be in the water (scuba/snorkeling, etc) the rest of the time-- any ideas on what to buy? Or where to shop? I'm on a pretty tight budget, only have about $150 or so to spend...I REALLY NEEDS TOPS!! - no idea what to buy OR where?!! PLEASE HELP!!

I like Land's End for swimwear - I have like 6 tankinis from them - their 'normal' sizing goes to 18, but I prefer to order the 'plus size' tops since you can get DD/DDD cup tops:

For tops - have you checked out consignment and/or thrift shops? No one but you has to know they're from thrift shops

I'm also about the same size as you and have had this issue before. I'm not sure what stores are around you BUT personally I like Cato. Big selection, all fashionable, and good pricing. Also for me I shop places like JcPenny but it's kind of hit or miss sometimes. I have really gotten into maxi dresses a lot. They are super comfy and you can dress them up or down with jewerly and shoes. Lane Bryant is okay I think that's more for older women and they are a little pricey to me. Old Navy doesn't have a great selection anymore. For tops you can try places like Charolette Russe you just have to look more at the flowy tops but that can get annoying sometimes too. I hope you find something. I know how annoying shopping can be!

I am a size 16 apple shape and I have had good luck at Lane Bryant (not all their stuff looks like its for old ladies lol), Ross, Dress Barn, and TJ Maxx.

For tops, I recently bought these (I got them in 4 different colors they were buy one get one half off) I love the banded tops because they camoflauge (sp) my tummy:

Don't let the word "jegging" scare you off...they aren't really tight but they are super comfy. I don't know about you but if I find a pair of pants that fit my waist, they are terribly baggy everywhere else....these fit me like a glove.

The prices may seem high but LB ALWAYS has coupons going on...never pay full price! Usually its $25 off $75 and the discount goes up the more you spend...google "lane bryant coupon codes" and you will always find something!
