west point catholic ceremony question

Hi, 
We are looking into having a wedding at West Point Military Academy. We are both Catholic but would like to have the ceremony at the Cadet Chapel on campus. Unfortunately, we are both not from the area and do not know of a Catholic priest that could perform the cermony and the West Point priests will only officiate at the Catholic Chapel. Has anyone had a Catholic cermony at the Cadet Chapel, if so, how did you find a catholic priest to perform the ceremony? Or any other suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi! I am getting married at the Thayer Hotel, not at the chapel though. In my wedding packet, I got a list of vendors and there are a couple "wedding ceremony officiators" on the list - I'll PM you their info!

    Are you or your FI alumni of the academy?  If you are not alumni or currently stationed at West Point, you cannot get married at one of their chapels.  Been there, tried that.. begged... I was told- not in 100 years have they or will they change their minds on this issue.  

    Instead we had our ceremony at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church right on Main street in Highland Falls (well, we actually ended up having it at their chapel in Ft. Montgomery because they were doing construction to their steps, but it was supposed to be here.  Either way, same parish, and Fr. Jack was phenomenal!).  Literally you are probably less than 1 mile to the gate.  We had our reception at the Thayer Hotel.  You should go check out Sacred Heart, the church is beautiful.  BTW, Fr. Jack (the parish priest) did our ceremony as we did not have any priests we were close to, and the priest from our home parish would not travel for us because they didn't really know us.
