Any weekend checks ladies?

Got an email notice from our tux shop to remind the guys to go in & get measured. Early but I sent them all an email from the website anyway.
 
Picked out earrings as gifts for my usherette & personal attendant.

Met with our pastor for the 1st time to start counseling & talk about day-of timeline.

Created our registries at Target & Macys.

Tomorrow I meet with the seamstress for the first time.

    FI and I decided on his suit. We're going tonight so he can get measured and put down the deposit. 

    I bought 70 pillar/block candles from Ikea. 

    I ordered 12 candle vases for on top of the fireplace mantle. 

    I contacted a few limo companies. We're not sure if we're going this route but I'm getting information anyway. 

    The magnet frames for the photobooth were delivered so that's all done.

    Got ball rolling on BM clutches, got half of the superhero T shirts we need for GM and bought these off Craigslist:
    10 pommanders $4 each
    25 Tolsby frames $0.75 each
    30 pintuck table runners $0.50 each

    Our guys except 2 got fitted over the weekend. I bought my shoes last week, they should be here today! I'm also going to buy my hair piece tonight and call the church to set up a time to meet and discuss the ceremony more in depth. We began our photo guest book last night, but I got a little overwhelmed with it and stopped. I think that's all from this past weekend!

    We decided on the guys' tuxes and will get them ordered this weekend. 

    And, a non-tangible check, I made a difficult guest list decision regarding my dad.  That was a huge weight off my shoulders!

    I got my guestbook print tree thingy today. Super excited about that.
    I also purchased my undergarments & "night of" attire



    This weekend will hopefully be a weekend full of checks. Here's what Im working on for this coming weekend:
    1. Meet an officiant to book
    2. Visit hotel & establish room block
    3. Finalize menu (tasting is Saturday)
    4. Pay off tux rental and order suit for my son
    5. Pay off cake
    6. Get another quote on getting my hair done

    Fingers crossed that it will all actually get done!

    Ordered our guest book from Shutterfly, sent the DJ our form of wedding music (he needed the somes we wanted for dances), and today ordered my gartner. Next on my list- DIY card box (it's a mailbox), and getting FI his darn tux already! And maybe I'll actually look for a dress that fits!

    I didn't do too many personal checks - although I also got the ball rolling on BM clutches... BUT I helped a friend find her wedding dress and that was a lot of fun!  

    Looks like you ladies were very productive, great job!

    I had a busy weekend!  We picked out tuxes, got the groom fitted while we were there, went to a bridal show, booked our PHOTOBOOTH! YAY!, met with a decorator, and started shopping for centerpiece items! =)

    i finally have an idea for my invites. I am trying to go the cheaper route and got good advice on here. I am goign to do a basic invite and do them myself. Tomarrow we are going looking for moh dress and we put a down payment on the tux. I also found a tux for my 4 year old on ebay for only $20. I work all weekend so i know nothing will get done. Fi had surgery for a ruptured disk in his neck and has been off since november so i have been the only income. Hopefully he will be back to work in the next 2 weeks and we will have his income coming in. Trying to stay in good spirits and still get things done. I feel like there is so much to do still and may is fast approching.

    You ladies have been busy !! Met with a new dj, booked and paid deps. Completed 4 out of 8 pomander balls Redid mockup of invite..I love it this time ! Went shoe shopping..saw shoes in store but were too big but was able to order online..shoes are on the way Made a mockup of bow shoe clip..im happy with how it came out. FI decided on his suit and GMs suit. He is going to get fitted this weekend. Meeting with wedding planner to meet at venue to do a run thru while there will set appt for tasting. Whew..its all coming together slowly but surley !
