Indecisive about THE Dress!

I started dress shopping at few weeks ago and I have completely fallen in love with two dresses. My problem is that they are both at different salons so I haven't been able to try them on at the same time, one after the other, to compare.

Does anyone have any advice on how you knew it was YOUR dress? Personally I have loved just about everything haha, which is making this way more difficult than I feel it needs to be. I would be happy with either, I'm just so nervous that as soon as I order it, I will regret not going with the other one.

Did you totally get yourself set up in both dresses? Meaning veil or headpiece ect. If you havent try that. Also take a look at the fabrics, and how they will bustle each. Maybe you prefer once fabic over the other, or prefer a certain way the dress hangs when its bustled. If you have then I would try them on one more time, and then just be confident in the decision you make. My decison maker was the dress was comfortable, and I knew I would be 100% happy once the dancing started. Do you have pics you can post?

The other dress is from Bijou in Paramus, NJ and they would not allow me to take a pic. However, it's about as opposite as you can get from this dress. The top is all swavorski crystal and beading and then ruching throughout the bodice with a beautiful long train, which I did want, for the church. It is a silk/satin material whereas this one is all tulle and lace. When I think about the bustle, that is the one thing I LOVE about the Bijou gown, the bustle is amazing.

I did try both on with the veil and accessories, which only made it more difficult. I love the veil with the Jim Hjelm dress 100x more, but I also didn't speak up and ask to see other veils with my dress at Bijou (which I will next time I go!). It will definitely be one of the two of these dresses, hopefully going back once more with my mom and sister will point me towards the right one! Thanks!

Since you have so much time, you could sit on the decision for a few weeks. That's what I did, and when it came time to order the gown it was almost no contest...at that point I knew which one I liked better. I tried on the runner-up and was like "what was I thinking?" I also tried to match the gown to my personality and the "feel" of our wedding.

Good advice! I don't plan on purchasing until the last weekend in October, which is when my mom and sister are coming into town (my entire family lives out of state). My mom has seen the first dress but not the second one, so we will be looking at both again and then deciding. Thanks!!
