Mothers' Corsages

It has been a really long time since I've been to a wedding. Can someone please let me know what is fashionable right now for moms - pin on corsages or wrist corsages? Can I have a combination of both if the moms have differing preferences? Thanks for your input!

    I would just let the mom's decide what they prefer. I  know my mom would HATE a wrist corsage LOL to prom-y if you ask me.

    Ditto! Ask your moms. But in my opinion I like the pin on corsages :)

    Another option would be to give her a small hand bouquet. That's what my mom is getting. But definitely ask her what she'd prefer.

      I would ask the moms which they'd like. They may also want to carry a nosegay or have a corsage pinned to their evening bags. If delicate fabrics are going to be worn, see if your florist uses magnets for corsages- no pins to mess up light fabrics!

    I would ask them which they prefer.

    But you might want to word that carefully, and ask what style flowers they want (pin on, wrist corsage, or nosegay).  Otherwise they might be giving you specific details about what kind and color of flowers they want.

    I asked what style mom mom and MIL wanted and they chose pin-on, not wrist. I wouldn't want to make them wear something they didn't want to.

    Neither one or our mothers wanted either of those choices... but we are giving them each a red rose during the ceremony that will break away from my bouquet, and it will be a suprise symbolizing the two families... just as another option!

    Thanks to everyone for their input. I didn't even know it was an option to have them carry nosegays. That's a nice idea!
