EMERGENCY

Okay so I just found out that my ceremony and reception site went bankrupt!  I am getting married in April and am kinda of freaking out.  I just got my invitations too!  I need to find an outdoor place between Dayton and Lima.  Does anybody know of a place?

    I'm so sorry!!
Are you sure that by bankrupt they're locking the doors?  I know this is very likely the case, but just wanted to be sure (I have heard of shops declaring bankrupcy but for whatever the situation were able to keep the doors open).
I don't know of any places in that area myself :(   Good luck!  You are about to champion through one of the hardest situations for a bride!

We got married in London, Ohio if that works for you. It is about 45 min west of Columbus. I have some vendor reviews in my bio and you can PM me if you would like more info.

    What about Cox Arboretum

Did you already pay for it? If so, I would fight to get my money back.

Here is a web site that has a list of a few:

    Hope that helps! Good luck!

Wow, that is horrible! If you payed any kind of deposit, I hope you're able to get it back. I'm sure the girls here will be able to help you find a place. Good luck.

Thankfully the only money I put down was a deposit of $500!  He said in yesterday's news article that he would pay all the bride's their deposits but I am doubting he will.  He doesn't have to since he filed bankruptcy.  And I guess this place closed on the 1st and he never notified anyone to tell them.  All the brides found out yesterday.  Thank you for all of your help ladies!  I am working 24 hours a week, in my last semester of undergrad taking 17.5 credits and will be married in 2 months!  Not what I had planned, but right about now I just want to get married!

I think bankruptcy only covers debts. Since that was a deposit to hold your date, I would think he would be required to pay it back.
