Chuppa

Hi Guys,
 
Has anyone here ever heard of making your own Chuppa for a Jewish wedding?  HELP!   Any suggestions?

    yes, but usually its a Hand-Held one.  And its kept in the family.

    I made my own chuppah!  I had some help from my dad and uncle, but basically we bought some sturdy planters, PVC pipe, and cement to make the bases.  We used very small trees for the poles, and built the top frame with wood.  It looked like this:
