Westchester Florals in Pelham?

Anyone had experience with them? They were recomended to me by my catering hall. Does anyone know how their prices compare to other vendors? I already got an estimate from House of Flowers in Mamaroneck and I'm waiting on one from Daniel Florals in Portchester.

    Don't have any experience with the above...but I loved ARCADIA FLORAL in Mamk.  Very professional and beautiful....you can't go wrong with them.  My flowers ( both the bouquets and centerpieces) were one of the unexpected highlights of my day...they were perfect!

    i used westchester florial. loved them. danny did a great job and they even added in some centerpieces for the cocktail hour just because! they were really great and i highly recommend them. 

    arcadia seems to be a hit or miss with their quality, and their prices from what i understand aren't that great compared with other florists in the area. i was even told by one person that diana gould was cheaper, which is insane lol. i guess though it's all about what flowers you choose in what month!

    yea, i hated arcadia. used them for my e-party and went w/ westchester floral for hte wedding. the arcadia guys are not very creative in my opinion, and were not open my suggestions, recoomendations, requests.

    to the contrary, danny is friendly, warm and loves what he does. he will work within any budget. and like pp said,he threw in a TON of stuff for free. his attention to detail is impeccable and the quality of his flowers are gorgeous.

    he was by far my favorite vendor.

    sjsphish, how would you compare pricing between Arcadia and Westchester Florals? Is Westchester significantly less expensive?

    We used Westchester Floral, worked with Danny and LOVED it!
    He was great and our flowers were amazing

    kristen12345, to be honest with you, danny is cheaper, but not by that much. on paper the two are fairly comprable (in my opinion). however, the reason my flowers ended up costing so much less with him is twofold: a) he threw in a bunch of things for free "just cuz" and b) he is very flexible and willing to work with you to give you what you want but keep wtihin budget, i.e. reusing certain things from ceremony to receiption, suggesting similar flowers that may be cheaper/in season .. that sort of thing.

    I am using Westchester Floral for my wedding in August. I am working with Vito who is amazing and my sister used Danny 2 years ago for her wedding. GREAT WORK!!!

    We worked with Danny for our wedding and he was truly one of my favorite vendors!  The only thing I wish they woud do was some sort of sample on bouquet sizes.  Had I known what mine ws going to be like I would have definately asked for larger.  Aside from that, everything was truly perfect!
