I always thought I'd be later in my 20s or early 30s (I'm 25 now). No way did I expect to get engaged at 23 be married by 26!

I was just shy of 21 when we got engaged (3 days out ha) and I will be 22 when we get married. I never thought I'd be this young! But I don't believe age should run if you get married or not.

I met FI when I was 19 and knew I wanted to marry him within 6 months of being together. I wanted to get engaged right after graduation which was 3 years ago but I am glad that we waited because we have learned so much about each other and grown as a couple. Now I am sure that we will have a great marrriage.

At the stage in life we bickered a lot over nothing and now our comumunication is getting better (could still use some work but it;s a lot better)

Nope I never thought I would be getting engaged at 21 and getting married at 24... I always thought I would be in my late 20's early 30's.

I actually grew up thinking I'd find my hubby in college, then get engaged and married after graduating. That didn't happen, which when I reached 21, I realized that I woulnd't have been ready anyway but I'll be 29 when we get married and couldn't be happier.

No I thought we'd be married by 25 lol. We got engaged when I was 25 an will be married when I'm 27 an he's 28. When I look back I'm so glad we waited!

I never really thought about what age I'd be to be honest. FI & I have been together for 5 years. 6 months in we knew we wanted to marry each other. At the time, though, we were both 22 & not financially stable (I had just graduated & started working, he was pretty new at his job & the pay wasn't great). I'm so glad we didn't jump into anything because where we are now is perfect.

Never thought I would be remarrying at 36. I knew my first marriage wouldnt last (it was an abusive one and I still cant believe it lasted as long as it did) but I never expected to marry again. Never thought that love with kindness, compassion, sensitivity , caring and unconditional really existed. Now I know.

When I was younger, I assumed I'd get married in my early 20s (after graduating college). When I graduated college and was single, I thought I might never get married. Shortly after, I met my now FI and I'll be 27 when we get married. I guess it's the happy middle between 22 and never! I just needed the right guy at whatever age that was.

I kinda did actually.. I knew I wanted to be out of college and have a job before getting married! I always say 26 would be great and it will be since I will turn 26 in Jan! Now I deff didn't see FI as being the one and so quickly. I always thought I would have met and dated the same guy in college, then graduate/get a job then get engaged! I started out college dating a guy until junior year. Met fiance 1st day of seniior year then 2 years later got engaged! I love how life works out and I couldn't be anymore happier!

I never thought about marriage one way or another. It was a total non-priority in my life. I've been working professionally in my career since I was 14, so my whole life was very focused toward that. So surprise, surprise!

I wanted to married by 25 and have kids by the time i turned 30....looks like it will be close. My parents were 21 and 23 when they got married. And my sister is 21 and wanting to get married. Not sure if would have been ready to get married at the age

I had always thought I.wanted marriage and kids in my early 20s I will be 26 when we get married and 27 when.we have a girl and i honestly think it is perfect!

Nope didnt think I'd be marrying this young, I will be just short of 24 when we get married & FI will be just short of 26. We got engaged when I was 22 and he was 24, at first FI said he wanted to wait a few years before we got married - but then he changed his mind. We are going to be engaged for almost a year and a half when we get married.
