It's my Hen do this weekend !! Eeek! :-)

Hi girls,

It has been a long time since I've last chatted on this forum.
I've got everything sorted for my wedding on the 18th of October and now it's time for party.

I am so excited as I am flying to Paris for my hen do this weekend :-).

Really can't wait for it.

What are you girls doing for yours?

    I feel really stupid asking this, but what is a hen do? Is it like a bachelorette party? I've heard of hen parties before too.

    Oh sorry.. I didn't know it has another name in the US.
    Didn't know what was a bacholorette party before I've google it LoL Laughing.
    Yes it is the same thing.
    It is called a "Hen Do" in the UK.

    If FI and I had unlimited funds, we would be visiting Scotland for our honeymoon. I bet it's beautiful there. I want to visit Paris some day too!

    ETA: My two sisters are taking me somewhere for my Hen Do, but they won't tell me where! I am so excited, and I'm very excited that it is just going to be us three sisters together :)  Will you get to see your friends from Paris while you are visiting?

    It will also be a family things for me.
    I am flying with my bridesmaid Heather and I will meet my 4 cousins in Paris.
    I will have another Hen Do in Scotland with all my friends the weekend before the wedding Laughing.

    luuucky you!  my fiance let it slip that my MOH (his sister) wants to do a spa day followed by a good old fashined sleepover/movie night!  i'm so excited for that but i have no idea when it is!!

    My party is over Labor Day weekend in NYC, where I live.  A bunch of friends are coming in and staying in my tiny apartment.  It will be so fun.  We are going to a spa and then basically doing low key things the rest of the weekend.

    Do you know what your plan is in Paris?  I'm curious to know how the French party!

    We have no real plans yet.
    I would like to do a spa afternoon and restaurants and clubs.
    Will see once we will arrive.

    Paris!! How fun!  I went for a school trip once and loved it (I'm from the US).  I'm headed up to Chicago tomorrow for my party, we'll probably just get some dinner and hit the bars :)
