Have just recently slashed my wedding down to a small, private gathering. Only inviting 50 people to Ceremony and Reception. Anyone have any suggestions on nice, intimate venues other than the TOPA?

    Possibly Jester Park Lodge, Des Moines Botanical Center, hotels would have different sizes of reception space for smaller parties. The Temple's ceremony space would still be nice for 50 people I think.

    Hoyt Sherman Place is really pretty.  Suites at 800 Locust has a nice reception location for a party of that size, too.

    Congrats on downsizing! I'm a little jealous of that right now...What about the art center? or Sticks has a beautiful venue!
