Makeup Trial PIP

Had my makeup trial last night. Opinions please? The last pic is after I walked a million blocks and was sweating my arse off. Oh and there is no before picture because it looked absolutely disgusting in it, which is unfortunate since I never wear makeup and walk around like that all the time.

Really pretty!  Who did you go to?

First what do you think?  I like it but its definely a 'made-up' look.  Do you like that kind of look or did you want something more natural?

I think it looks really nice but if you never wear makeup you may want to see a more natural look to compare. You want to be comfortable and love the way you look in pics.

In my completely honest opinion I think it looks very made up - its nicely done, meaning the work is good, but like you said you seldom even wear makeup I'd think to go for a more subtle look

Thats kinda what i was getting at Kris...

Seabass it just seems overdone for your personality (i could be totally wrong) but it just seems a bit much for a bridal look.

I see you with more natural eyeshadow and just a natural flushed cheek and pink lip.

I  agree-- it looks a bit "too much" on you...

Truthfully...it does look made up and not like you.

I agree go with something more natural. Although I just think that the lid color is just too light for your skin tone. Just by doing a little bt of a darker smokier eye will tone it down a lot.

I agree with the rest of the girls. A bit too much. My MOH has similar complexion to you and my makeup artist did a FANTASTIC job on her. She def looked madeup, but not overly so. I can email you pics if you like to get an idea.

It looks great! I think you should look done up on your wedding day. I don't think it's overly done or dramatic at all. I do agree with pp about too light of a shadow but other than that I don't think you should go any more natural since that is not dramatic to me.

I disagree Rosie.  I had a few makeup trials before my wedding and one of them was more colorful and made up.  It looked nice but not like me.  My hubby didn't like it for exactly that reason. He said that he wanted me to look like the best version of me on my wedding day...not someone else.

I agree with him...I think brides should look like the most beautiful version of themselves on their wedding day :)

I like it but agree I look very made up and very different than normal but I'm not so sure that I mind it that much since I'm gonna be pretty dressed up anyways. IDK?  They did some more nuetral tones on me originally and it didn't look like i was really wearing any make up.

Sin if you could send me pics, that would be great. slwjunkmail @ yahoo . com

From the everyday pics I've seen of you, you seem to have a very sleek and sophisticated style. And I don't think this makeup really meshes with that. I think the super-pink eyeshadow is throwing me off.

Don't get me wrong ... you look pretty and it doesn't look bad by any means, but I agree with those who said to maybe try another look and then compare the two. I'd think I'd like to see you with maybe a darker eyeshadow and a more "evening elegant" look (if that makes sense).

I think the first hair inspiration pic in your bio is along the lines of what I think would look nice for you in terms of makeup ... it looks put together and elegant, but not too made up:

I think it looks too colorful--like the eyes, cheek AND lips are all pretty bright. Also, there's still some shine in the first pic and by the third one it's worse....so when you dance you'll prob get shiny. I'm not sure if that's more your camera flash though.

I agree with pp, it looks good (nice work), but a more natural look or at least more earthtone shades, like gold or copper may look better IMO.

Thanks Sin, she does look amazing, such a pretty girl!

I agree with PP's that your everyday looks is very sleek and sophisticated.  This look, while artistic, looks too barbie doll like to me.  I think you're a beatiful girl naturally, I don't think you need the bright bright colors to look your best!

I like it. You look really pretty. But then again I wear makeup every day so I would want something a little more for my wedding day. Who did you go to?  Sinthya- who is the photographer that took the pic you have posted in your message?

Are the eyes in shades of pink or more lavender-y?

In any case, I think the look is gorgeous on you, I really do.

Thanks Jamie! They eyes are actually a mix of browns and dark plum in the brown family...think they just photographed pink, which I guess is also something to think about.

Hi, I think you look gorgeous.  I don't wear much makeup daily just mascara and lip gloss really because I'm too lazy to do full makeup everyday, with that being said I love makeup, especially when I go out and in pictures.  If you want a more natural look, I would agree maybe to change it up, but remember the flash will definitely make you look like you have less makeup on.  I personally don't want a natural look, my wedding day is not like every or any other day, and I want my makeup to convey the same message.  I want my look to reflect all the glitz and glamour I envision my wedding to have.
Something else to consider, is your dress more simple or elaborate?

P.S. Can I have her contact info?  TIA :)
