Pushups Accountability

Hey everyone! I don't post on weekends so I don't know if you guys kept up with this endevour, but I thought I would post today's accountability.

Yesterday:
rest day (I needed it!)
Today: program goal is 24, but I want to get in 27 :)

How are you ladies doing??

  • What is the program goal?  Is that your max number?  Or all of the pushups added together?

  • Saturday: Initial test, 17 push-ups total

    I plan to do the push-ups on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the evening. I will do my first round of week 1 tonight :)

    Today: program goal is 26

    I am on Week 1 Day 1. I did my trial on Friday and got 6, which is actually more than I thought I would get! I am excited to get started on this. FI thinks I am funny. He said he would do it with me though.

    I also plan to do this in the evenings (mornings are too hectic with a 3 yr old and 30 minute commute!) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

    Alli- You are already super strong- GOOD JOB!!!!

    Ash- You can do it! Let us know tomorrow (or tonight) if you get 27!

  • Well, I fell off the bandwagon.  I'm going to make daily cards for myself to make me more accountable.  I did 30 today though to make me feel better.

    Program goal is total added together. I like to post the total so I can see how many I'm doing in one day rather than how many in my max set. :)

    I was actually excited to do mine, too.  I did them basically right when I woke up.  My arms are definitely feeling it though!  Good luck with yours tonight.

    PS: What exercise are you thinking of starting next week?  Or are you going to stagger them more than a week apart?

  • So my goal was 25 (I put 26 above, but I miss added.... geez) and I did 27... woo hoo! My arms were SUPER jelloy thougH! haha!!! I am doing Tues Thurs Sat this week because I have a very full day of work then class until late and I dont want to fall of the bandwagon teh first week!!

  • woo hoo!!  read this initial post on saturday and did my test then-23.  forgot to start yesterday so started today.  i'll do tu, th, sat this week.

    goal today: at least 45
    actual: 52!!!

    the most i did when we were in rehearsals for my last show when i was playing a rock climber was 49, so i am stoked!!!
