Joliet Restaurants

My fiance and I are considering having our reception at a restaurant, with a DJ and Karaoke, etc, since costs are generally cheaper. Can anyone recommend some cool places in the Joliet area? We are currently looking at LaMex Mexican restaurant on Jefferson, which has our favorite margueritas!

    We absolutely love Heroe's West!  They have a great "party" room with a nice bar in the back with a patio attached to it.  It would be a great space, we are planning on having our Rehearsal Dinner there.  The owner is a great guy too -- im sure he'd work with you!

    Mmm the burgers at Heroes West are so yummy :)
    We had our rehearsal dinner at the bowling alley, so I'm not much help with personal experience. But my friend had her rehearsal at the Department in downtown and they loved it.

    Someone had also suggested these when I was planning, but I never really looked into them:

    The Department in downtown Joliet is very nice and has amazing food.  They have an upstairs area for parties & weddings.  It wasn't open when we got married but I would have had my rehearsal there in a heartbeat.
