affordable hair and makeup

hello - i am looking for a reasonably priced hair and makeup provider in the philadelphia area - i do a decent job myself but what fun is that??

has anyone used laura sample? any other suggestions/tips?

    Salon Moda on Huntington Pike...Ask for Nicole...not only is she my little sister but she is AMAZING with updo's etc, if you call tell her your fellow bride/her sister sent ya!! lol

    They are in Cherry Hill come to PA.. Simply Beautiful Makeup.

    I am plugging them away since they saved my cousin's butt in Delco when she had an artist bail and also because they rocked doing my trial this past Friday! My budget is nil for the wedding and we were stoked when we heard $55 and $85 for airbrush.

    I liked Deeva's but they were lax on calling me back and I didn't feel like they cared I called.

    61 days till I'm wed!! :D

    </div><div>I would definitely NOT recommend Laura Sample!  She cancelled on my out of the blue just four weeks before my wedding (I booked her 4 months in advance!).  She was super umprofessional about it and completely blew me off, then got defensive...it was honestly shocking.  I don't think she really knows what she's doing.  Her prices are low for a reason!  I would STAY AWAY, there are a lot of great, professional artists in the area that are much more reliable (and I'm sure that would at least provide an alternative solution rather than just a lame excuse if the need to cancel came up).  Good luck on your wedding!
