Hi Everyone - I'm recently engaged (about 2 weeks) and I've been looking around at a few wedding halls.  I found Il Villagio on the internet and have been asking around about it but none of my family and friends know very much about it....anyone ever attend a wedding/get married there? any info will help. thanks!

I have heard great things about Il Villaggio, as far as food and service.   My only negative about it(and i have never attended an event there) is that it is right on Route 17 and there are no outside grounds for the most part.

Hello!  I am actually getting married at IL Villaggio's next July.  I fell in love with the place.  Go there in person...it looks even more beautiful! I went for a tasting and the food was excellent. Ask to speak with John he is amazing!  Their isn't much of an outside, however, my photographer would be taking me somewhere after the church to get some outside shots.

I got married at Il Villaggio almost a month ago and was extremely pleased with their food and service. We took pictures at a park near our church so their location was never a bother to us. Once you are inside, the beauty of the place doesnt remind me that is on Route 17....

I am getting married at the Il Villaggio next  May.  The place is beautiful.  The food is good as well.  I like the idea that it was a restaurant first  and still has a restaurant with a serious focus on food.  Everything in the banquet hall is brand new.  I was concerned at first by the lack of grounds but I figured none of my guests are going on a hike anyway.  The inside of the place makes up for it not having any gardens.  I am working with Bob and things have gone well so far.   I never attended an event there but I have only heard good things.
Since I've booked I have gone to dinner there a few times and I have been happy with my meals.  Another good thing is that it is a family business and the owner is always there walking around and checking in with guests.
