So, I am new here, hello! *waves hand to all*
I have a question for all of you and I will try to be as short as possible on here. Back story, my BF was looking at engagement rings 2 years ago but a series of things have happened since then (mostly losing his job) and I never received one, still haven't. We have been together for 4 years and both in our mid thirties, never married, no children. We just moved in together in the fall of 2013.
Within the last week and a half or so my BF has done a couple things that have led me to believe he might propose but to no avail. The first time he was nearly insistent on having a picnic at a local falls near our house. He wanted to hold my hand a lot, despite the raging heat. We had a nice time and went home.
The second time was a couple days later when he was, again, insistent on going for a walk. As we neared getting back to our house he wanted to walk a bit further, in yes again the raging heat. We went a little further and then went home.
Four days after that I was getting ready for work early in the morning. I was sitting at my vanity curling my hair when he came over, dropped to one knee, smiled at me then kissed my knee and walked away. I didn't say anything other than smile back.
I am not expecting a ring or anything and we haven't spoken much about marriage since two years ago when he was looking at rings. Am I wrong to be going crazy right now? I literally can not stop thinking about this now and I am driving myself crazy and just want to stop and let it happen, whenever that may be.
Thoughts?
