Do I HAVE to be in seclusion until after the ceremony?? I know, "It's your wedding, do what you want!" But I don't want to be tacky either.  My wedding is 3 hours out of town and will be the end of July and outdoors.  It's going to be hot so my venue recommends we have our ceremony later in the day so we don't cook our friends and family.  (She recommends as late at 6pm!).  Our guests are making quite the trek to get to the venue, so I already plan on having appetizers and cocktails when they arrive.  Since we're already doing snacks and drinks before the ceremony, I don't mind pushing the ceremony out later, except... why don't I get to hang out with my guests??  The groom gets to hang out and have a good time with everyone, while I, what?  Hang out in the bathroom and peek out the window??  Are there any alternatives???  We have to have the party at least calmed down by 10.  If my ceremony isn't until 6, that doesn't leave me with much time to actually enjoy my guests.  Do I push the ceremony up and just make everyone hot?  I'm keeping the ceremony short and sweet and we're planning a first look and pictures before the ceremony.  Any input is appreciated!
