Did anybody else get the email from AC indicating that, "due to a change in the laws", alcoholic beverages would no longer be permitted on board any of their vehicles? Do you know if other commercial transportation companies are implementing - and more importantly enforcing - these restrictions?

you can only avoid people for so long...just be direct and let them know that you are keeping it small, limited to close friends and family, budget restrictions etc....they are the ones that should feel awkward....not you!

I am planning on doing a candy bar as well. However this is only because we started dating and have spent many anniversaries in Hershey PA. We will be doing all Hershey's candies but will not be restricted to our color schema.

Same as PP. I don't see it worth the extra time on my part to assign seats. Just tables. People will naturally sit with who they know best at the table but don't see the point in restricting people to a certain seat.

They RSVPs here are gone now, I think. They weren't great to begin with. I used RSVPify. I paid a small fee but it was GREAT! About half my guests used it and I was able to keep track of dietary restrictions.

Are you getting married in a church? Most churches have restrictions on what music is played during the ceremony. If not, there's Vitamin String Quartet, and they play a lot of popular music. I'd look them up and see if there's anything you like.

That is sad. These new visa restrictions came out of nowhere - no warning. You'd think people would be more sympathetic. Mind you, I'm not sure about the level of intelligence of some of the commentators. One seemed unaware that Hawaii is in the US.

You can print them as soon as you buy them. Just an fyi that most of them have "restrictions/rules"- like 18% gratuity will be added to your bill or you must spend $35 to use the $25 gc.

I'm getting married at St. John's Chapel in Plymouth (located at the Inn at St. Johns) and neither of us are members of this church. I however am a practicing member of another church so I'm not sure what the actual restrictions are.
